Tiffany is our office manager at Aperture and likely the first individual you will meet when you come to our office. She was born and raised in Hong Kong. She obtained a bachelor of arts from the University of Calgary and majored in economics. She worked as an administrative officer in Hong Kong for an insurance company and has an abundance of experience communicating with clients. Tiffany has been an office manager for more than 10 years for multiple accounting firms since settling in Calgary.  Tiffany enjoys traveling, looking for good food, reading books, and listening to music at home. Enjoying the simple life and spending time with family and friends is how she likes to pass the time.

Aleipho (Al) was born in Winnipeg and has been in Calgary from a young age. He received a bachelor of commerce with a minor in humanities from the University of Calgary. He earned his chartered accountant designation in 2015 and completed the in-depth tax course in 2021. Al started articling at Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants in 2011 and has been with the company from that time to the subsequent name change to Aperture Chartered Professional Accountants. He has a wide range of expertise ranging from compilation to audits and bookkeeping, and advisory engagements for personal, corporate, and not-for-profit engagements. Al enjoys creating memories with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys being creative and experimentative, which often culminates into cooking and chatting about beverages, cocktails, and spirits with others.

Aaron is a born and raised Calgarian who obtained a bachelor of management from the University of Lethbridge. Aaron articled at Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants and received his chartered accountant designation in 2015. Aaron has a significant amount of experience and expertise that includes, but is not limited to, compilation engagements, assurance engagements, and operational and reporting related advisory for corporate and personal tax matters. Additionally, his expertise also includes extensive knowledge of not-for-profit accounting and oversight. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. Aaron also enjoys travelling, camping, hiking, and cheering on his favorite local sports teams.

Chih is a native Calgarian who obtained a bachelor of commerce from the University of Calgary. He articled at national accounting firms for two years before joining Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants and obtaining his chartered accountant designation in 2012. Chih has accumulated a significant amount of experience and expertise that includes, but is not limited to, compilations, assurance engagements, and advisory for trusts, corporate, and personal tax matters. Additionally, his expertise also includes extensive knowledge of not-for-profit accounting and oversight. Chih can be found spending most of his free time in the garage wrenching away at his Nissan Skyline or on his computer creating add-on content for racing games.

Sammy was born and raised in Hong Kong. She obtained a bachelor of applied business administration with a major in accounting from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2019. She is currently working on obtaining her CPA certification in Canada. She loves watching movies and reading books in her spare time. Sammy enjoys spending time with family, especially travelling to other destinations for food and scenery.

Kevin was born and raised in Hong Kong. He obtained a bachelor of science with a major in pure math and statistics from the University of Calgary. Prior to joining the Aperture team, he spent many years accumulating accounting experience in the oil and gas industry. He has experience ranging from compilations and audit engagement work to inventory counts and bookkeeping. Kevin enjoys traveling, cooking, and building with Lego.  He enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as enjoying different types of culinary experiences.

Jaden was born and raised in Calgary. She has obtained a business administration diploma with a major in accounting from Bow Valley College and is currently working on obtaining her CPA certification in Canada. In her spare time, Jaden enjoys curling up with a warm drink and a good book or working on her latest cross stitch project. She also enjoys playing games on the computer with friends. In the summer, Jaden often goes camping or travelling to British Columbia to visit family.

Loren was born and raised in the Philippines. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of La Salette, as well as a CPA designation in the Philippines. She worked for a bank and trust company as an internal auditor before moving to Calgary. Loren received her CPA Canada designation in 2024. Through a bridging program, she joined Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants as an intern and stayed with the company after the internship and subsequent name change to Aperture Chartered Professional Accountants. She has accumulated a wide range of expertise relating to financial reporting, compilation engagements, and assurance engagements. Loren loves going outside, especially hiking and camping. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family around the beautiful lake and mountain scenery.

Raymond was born in Hong Kong and became a chartered accountant in Canada in 1998. In that same year, he became owner and proprietor of Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants. He served his clients through Retzlaff & Wong Chartered Accountants and after the change to Aperture Chartered Professional Accountants. Raymond’s many decades of experience includes, but is not limited to, personal income tax services, management and retirement advisory services, and audit of not-for-profit organizations. Although Raymond still spends a bit of time at the office, he has decided it is time to start spending more time on his hobbies with friends and family. He enjoys outdoor activities and nature. He also enjoys cooking, learning, and he can make a very good cup of milk tea.
